• Trinity International looks to get back on the winning track Tuesday afternoon, with a trip to take on the Goshen (Ind.) Maple Leafs.

• The Trojans are working to rebound after a 71-65 road loss to Governors State on Saturday.
• Senior guard Sarina Falvo leads the team with 11.6 points per game this season. Rayelle Ross (8.4 ppg), Basha Ramsey, and Arielle Miree (both 8.0 ppg) are just shy of double figures on the year.
• Ramsey made her season debut against Purdue-Northwest on Dec. 3, returning from injury to score a team-high ten points. 
• Ramsey is also averaging a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game, as seven different Trojans are pulling down three or more boards per game.
• As a team, the Trojans rank 15th in the NAIA in free throw shooting, connecting at the charity stripe with a .746 percentage. Trinity shot 19-of-20 (.950) from the free throw line in the win over Calumet St. Joseph on Dec. 10.
• TIU head coach Laurel Wartluft earned her 355th career victory at Cincinnati Christian. Wartluft is one of 15 active coaches in NAIA Division II with 350 or more victories.
• Trinity is averaging 63.0 points per game as a team, good for 10th in the CCAC. Defensively, the Trojans allow an average of 63.9 points per game, ranking 6th in the league.
• Goshen averages 70.9 points per game, but are outscored by their opponents, giving up 73.0 points each night.
• Trinity is tied for 3rd in the CCAC with an average of 11.2 steals per game. The team's average grew by more than two steals per game after recording a season-high 31 in the win over Lincoln Christian on Dec. 7.
• The Trojans are looking to improve upon last season's record of 8-19, which was the program's highest win total in three seasons.

Series History
• Tuesday will be the 6th meeting between the Trojans and Maple Leafs, with Goshen holding a 3-2 edge in the series.
• Goshen has one three of the last four matchups, with both sides meeting in each of the past four seasons.

Scouting the Opponent
• The Maple Leafs are 6-6 on the season, following last season's run to the NAIA National semifinals. They come into play this week winners of two straight, over St. Francis (Ind.) and Bethel (Ind.)
• Lynnia Noel leads the team with 16.3 points per game, while Gabby Williams ranks 7th in the NAIA, with a .609 shooting percentage.
• Zaporia Smith leads the Jaguars with 12.4 points per game.

Last Time Out vs. Goshen
• Senior JaToya Woods finished with a season-high 20 points, but Trinity International were outscored 24-15 in the fourth quarter, falling at home to the Maple Leafs, on Nov. 14, 2015.
• The Trojans kept within striking distance all night, until a 12-1 run in the fourth put the game away in favor of the visitors., turning a four-point deficit with 7:23 to play into a 15-point advantage for the visitors with under three and a half minutes to play.
• Two other Trojans would finish in double figures, as Falvo collected 17 points from 5-of-11 shooting and four three-pointers. Parris Bryant finished the night with 10 points to go with a team-high seven rebounds.

National Leaders
• Sarina Falvo ranks 6th among the NAIA national leaders in free throw shooting, connecting at the stripe with an .895 percentage.
• Arielle Miree is averaging 3.7 assists per game, good for 42nd in the NAIA.

Trojan Program History
• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest active head coaches in the NAIA; Wartluft has collected 358 wins over her 26 years as a head coach.
• TIU has made two appearances at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship, in 1992-93, and 1994-95. The Trojans lost in the first round both times, to College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in 1993, and Western Oregon in 1995.
• Since 2003-04, TIU has posted an overall record of 163-249 (.396).
•Trinity International has never appeared in the NAIA Coaches Poll since it's debut in 1999-00.

1,000 Point Club
• Since 2003-04, four Trojans have reached 1,000 career points, most recently Brittany Simon (2009-13), with 1,019 points.
• Basha Ramsey is the active career leader in scoring, with 601 points.
