• Trinity International hits the road this weekend for a tough CCAC matchup against 15th-ranked Purdue-Northwest, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3.

• The Trojans are looking to snap a five-game slide, following a 73-61 loss at Roosevelt on Wednesday night.
• Senior guard Sarina Falvo leads the team with 11.8 points per game in the early season. Rayelle Ross (10.3 ppg) is also averaging double figures for the Trojans.
• Senior forward Marlou Peters is averaging a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game. Six different Trojans are pulling down three or more boards per game.
• As a team, the Trojans rank 14th in the NAIA in free throw shooting, connecting at the charity stripe with a .754 percentage. Trinity posted a season-high .895 free throw percentage (17-of-19) in the win at Cincinnati Christian on Nov. 5.
• TIU head coach Laurel Wartluft earned her 355th career victory at Cincinnati Christian. Wartluft is one of 15 active coaches in NAIA Division II with 350 or more victories.
• Trinity is averaging 62.5 points per game as a team, good for 11th in the CCAC. Defensively, the Trojans allow an average of 68.1 points per game, ranking 8th in the league.
• The Purdue-Northwest offense is 3rd in the CCAC, averaging 79.5 points per game, while on the defensive end of the floor the Pride allow 73.8 points per game, ranking 12th in the league.
• Trinity ranks 6th in the CCAC with an average of 9.4 steals per game. Rayelle Ross leads the team and ranks 32nd among NAIA leaders with 2.6 steals per game.
• The Trojans are looking to improve upon last season's record of 8-19, which was the program's highest win total in three seasons.

Series History
• Saturday marks the first ever meeting between the Trojans and Purdue-Northwest. Trinity held a 9-11 record with Purdue-Calumet from 2003-2015, before the program merged with Purdue-North Central last summer.
• Purdue-Calumet had won the final eight meetings with Trinity, dating back to the 2011-12 season.

Last Time Out vs. Purdue-Calumet
• Trinity knocked ten three-pointers on one end of the floor, and forced a 31 turnovers on the other, but ultimately came up just short on Dec. 5, falling at home to the 14th-ranked Purdue-Calumet Peregrines 68-61.
• Nika Bracun and Rayelle Ross led the Trojans with 15 points apiece, while shooting a combined 7-for-12 from beyond the three-point arc. Sarina Falvo also finished in double figures, with ten points on the day.
• Three-pointers from Bracun and Ross made it a five-point game with 2:47 to play, 60-55. The Peregrines responded with a quick four points on their next two possessions, and despite another pair of threes from the Trojans, Purdue-Calumet would hold on for the win.

Scouting the Opponent
• Winners of six of their last seven, Purdue-Northwest holds an 8-3 overall record and are 4-0 in CCAC play. The Pride are coming off a 66-56 home win over Indiana-South Bend on Wednesday night.
• An All-CCAC First Team selection a year ago, senior guard Cassidy Deno leads the team with 20.0 points per game, and ranks 2nd in the NAIA in total scoring, with 221 points.
• As a team, the Pride shoot .381 from three-point range, good for the 7th-best long-distance shooting percentage in the NAIA.

National Leaders
• Sarina Falvo ranks 27th among the NAIA national leaders in free throw shooting, connecting at the stripe with an .846 percentage.
• Senior guard Rayelle Ross is 32nd in the NAIA, with 2.6 steals per game this season, and is 34th in total steals, with 21.

Trojan Program History
• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest active head coaches in the NAIA; Wartluft has collected 356 wins over her 26 years as a head coach.
• TIU has made two appearances at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship, in 1992-93, and 1994-95. The Trojans lost in the first round both times, to College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in 1993, and Western Oregon in 1995.
• Since 2003-04, TIU has posted an overall record of 161-2471 (.395).
•Trinity International has never appeared in the NAIA Coaches Poll since it's debut in 1999-00.

1,000 Point Club
• Since 2003-04, four Trojans have reached 1,000 career points, most recently Brittany Simon (2009-13), with 1,019 points.
• Basha Ramsey is the active career leader in scoring, with 569 points.

• The Trojans return to Van Dixhorn Arena on Wednesday, December 7th, when they host Lincoln Christian (Ill.) in a non-conference matchup beginning at 7:00 p.m.
