• The Trojans are coming off of a 61-54 victory over Trinity Christian in their last game, for their fifth victory of the year.
• Senior guard Sarina Falvo leads the team with 11.9 points per game this season. Falvo has scored double figures in five of her last seven games, including a season-high 17 points in the win over Trinity Christian.
• Senior Rayelle Ross is second in scoring for the Trojans, with 8.2 points per game. Ross is also the team leader in steals, with 27.
• In eight games after returning from injury, Basha Ramsey has averaged 6.8 points with a team-high 5.5 rebounds per game, as five different Trojans are pulling down four or more boards per game.
• As a team, the Trojans rank 12th in the NAIA in free throw shooting, connecting at the charity stripe with a .867 percentage. Trinity shot a season-best 19-of-20 (.950) from the free throw line in the win over Calumet St. Joseph on Dec. 10.
• TIU head coach Laurel Wartluft earned her 355th career victory at Cincinnati Christian on Nov. 5. Wartluft is one of 15 active coaches in NAIA Division II with 350 or more victories.
• Trinity is averaging 60.0 points per game as a team, good for 13th in the CCAC. Defensively, the Trojans allow an average of 63.7 points per game, ranking 4th in the league.
• Olivet Nazarene leads the conference in points scored, with 110.3 points per game, but rank last in points allowed, giving up 93.2 points each night.
• Trinity ranks 3rd in the CCAC with an average of 10.9 steals per game. The team's average grew by more than two steals per game after recording a season-high 31 in the win over Lincoln Christian on Dec. 7.
• The Trojans are looking to improve upon last season's record of 8-19, which was the program's highest win total in three seasons.

Series History

• Saturday will be the 13th meeting between the Trojans and Tigers since the 2003-04 season. Olivet Nazarene leads the series, 11-2.
• Olivet Nazarene has won the last eight contests, dating back to 2010. The Tigers have scored 100 or more points in each of the last eight games.

Last Time Out vs. Olivet Nazarene

JaToya Woods finished with a career-high 28 points, while Basha Ramsey pitched in with 21, but the Trojans were unable to keep up with the fast-paced No. 10 Tigers, falling 126-92 on Jan. 16, 2016.
• Four Trojans finished in double figures, as Peters collected 19 points in just 15 minutes of action off the bench, while Falvo posted 10 points along with four assists.

Scouting the Opponent

• The No. 23 Tigers won their fourth straight last Saturday at Roosevelt, and enter play this weekend having won seven straight home games.
• Olivet has reached the 100-point mark in 13 of 18 games this season.
• The Tigers lead the NAIA-II in scoring, assists, three-pointers made, steals, and turnover margin.
• Maggie Schmidt leads the team with 17.5 points per game, and is the NAIA leader with a .643 shooting percentage.

National Leaders

Sarina Falvo ranks 12th among the NAIA national leaders in free throw shooting, connecting at the stripe with an .867 percentage.

Trojan Program History

• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest active head coaches in the NAIA; Wartluft has collected 359 wins over her 26 years as a head coach.
• TIU has made two appearances at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship, in 1992-93, and 1994-95. The Trojans lost in the first round both times, to College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in 1993, and Western Oregon in 1995.
• Since 2003-04, TIU has posted an overall record of 164-252 (.394).
•Trinity International has never appeared in the NAIA Coaches Poll since it's debut in 1999-00.

1,000 Point Club

• Five Trojans have reached 1,000 career points, most recently Brittany Simon (2009-13), with 1,019 points.
Basha Ramsey is the active career leader in scoring, with 623 points.
