• Trinity International prepares to host their second top-five team in a row, as the Trojans take on No. 4 St. Xavier on Wednesday night.

• The Trojans are coming off of a 73-46 home loss to No. 1 St. Francis on Saturday night, and will look to snap a two-game slide against the Cougars on Wednesday.
• Senior guard Sarina Falvo leads the team with 11.1 points per game this season. Falvo scored 12 points against Robert Morris last Wednesday, her first double-figure performance in her last four appearances.
• Junior guard Tashyra Burrough is averaging 8.6 points per game this year, but has put up an average of 14.0 points in the last five games, including a career-high 21 at Olivet Nazarene last Jan. 14.
• Senior Rayelle Ross is third in scoring for the Trojans, with 8.1 points per game. Ross led the Trojans with 17 points in the win at Lincoln Christian on Jan. 17.
• Senior point guard Arielle Miree is shooting a team-best 37.5% from three-point range while leading the Trojans with 3.2 assists per game. Miree posted ten points to lead Trinity in scoring during Saturday's matchup against #1 St. Francis.
• After missing the first eight games of the season to injury, Basha Ramsey has averaged 6.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Ramsey posted 12 points in the win at Lincoln Christian on Jan. 17, and finished with ten points and four steals at Olivet Nazarene on Jan. 14.
• As a team, the Trojans rank 24th in the NAIA in free throw shooting, connecting at the charity stripe with a .728 percentage. Trinity shot a season-best 19-of-20 (.950) from the free throw line in the win over Calumet St. Joseph on Dec. 10.
• On the defensive end, Trinity holds their opponents to a .365 shooting percentage, good for 25th-lowest in the NAIA.
• TIU head coach Laurel Wartluft earned her 360th career victory at Lincoln Christian on Tuesday. Wartluft is one of 15 active coaches in NAIA Division II with 350 or more victories.
• Trinity is averaging 61.1 points per game as a team, good for 13th in the CCAC. Defensively, the Trojans allow an average of 66.7 points per game, ranking 7th in the league.
• St. Xavier is 2nd in the league in points scored, with 89.7 points per game, and rank 3rd in points allowed, giving up just 61.0 points each night.
• Trinity ranks 5th in the CCAC with an average of 10.7 steals per game. Sarina Falvo leads the team with 1.9 steals per game, and is 12th among the CCAC leaders.
• The Trojans are looking to improve upon last season's record of 8-19, which was the program's highest win total in three seasons.

Series History
• Saturday will be the 22nd meeting between the Trojans and Cougars, with St. Xavier holding a 20-1 lead in the all-time series.
• The Trojans' lone win came in the very first matchup, 69-68 on Nov. 14, 2000.

Last Time Out vs. St. Xavier
• Junior guard Tashyra Burrough led Trinity in scoring for the first time this season, finishing with 14 points, but the 6th-ranked Cougars would use the long ball to secure a 102-62 win over the Trojans in the CCAC opener on Nov. 16.
• Junior guard Nika Bracun finished as the Trojans' leading rebounder, pulling down eight boards, while Falvo passed out a team-high three assists.

Scouting the Opponent
• The No. 4 Cougars have lost just twice all season, both to nationally-ranked opponents. Last Wednesday St. Xavier was upset by then-No. 19 Cardinal Stritch, 69-68.
• As a team the Cougars lead the NAIA in blocks and blocks per game (150; 7.1), assist-turnover ratio (1.7), and field goal defense (.332).
• SXU averages 11.8 three-pointers made per game, and shoot at a .400 percentage from beyond the arc, both ranking 2nd on the NAIA leaderboards.
• Kara Krolicki leads the CCAC with 21.2 points per game.

• Sarina Falvo ranks 16th among the NAIA national leaders in free throw shooting, connecting at the stripe with an .851 percentage.

Trojan Program History
• Head Coach Laurel Wartluft is one of the winningest active head coaches in the NAIA; Wartluft has collected 360 wins over her 26 years as a head coach.
• TIU has made two appearances at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship, in 1992-93, and 1994-95. The Trojans lost in the first round both times, to College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in 1993, and Western Oregon in 1995.
• Since 2003-04, TIU has posted an overall record of 165-255 (.393).
•Trinity International has never appeared in the NAIA Coaches Poll since it's debut in 1999-00.
