Box Score NOTRE DAME, Ind. - In their final week of the 2017-18 season the TIU Women's Basketball team came up short in their road matchup with Holy Cross College, suffering a 63-38 loss on Wednesday evening.

It was another solid performance from Tashyra Burrough as the Senior scored a team high 19 points after playing 30 minutes in the loss. Kylee Daniels was the only other Trojan to finish in double figures, tallying 11 points, rounding out the Trojans top performers.

The Saints controlled the pace of the game early, jumping out to a 14-8 lead after the 1st Quarter of play. The Trojans continued to fight in the first half, narrowing the deficit to as little as one point on two separate occasions. Despite their strong efforts the comeback at the end of the quarter and into the second half would come up short as HCC closed the game out with a 40 point second half, handing TIU the 63-38 defeat.

The Lady Trojans look to end the season on a high note as they look for a win over Olivet Nazarene on Saturday afternoon.
