Box Score BOURBONNAIS, Ill. - In their final game of the 2017-18 season the TIU Women's Basketball team came up short against #13 Olivet Nazarene, suffering a 82-57 loss to the Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

Bridgette Smith and Kylee Daniels led the way for the Lady Trojans offensively on Saturday, scoring 20 and 14 points each respectively in the loss.

TIU tried to keep pace with the Tigers early in the first half, but the fast paced offense from ONU was too much for the Trojans to handle. The Tigers came out of the gates quickly, tallying 26 points in the opening quarter, and followed it up with 22 points in the second frame before the half.

With the score at 48-22 in favor of ONU, the Trojans began to find their shot, eventually shooting 54% from the field. TIU would outscore ONU 35-34 in the second half, but the early lead from the Tigers in the first half would be too much to overcome as the Trinity International would eventually fall 82-57.

The Lady Trojans wrap up the season with a record of 6-21, and finished 2-18 in the CCAC.
