DEERFIELD, Ill. - The incredible 2018 season continues for the TIU Softball program, as the Lady Trojans have earned a berth in this years NCCAA North Central Regional Tournament that will take place this Wednesday and Thursday. Trinity International will take on CCAC rival Judson University on May 9th and 10th, in a best of three series with a spot in the NCCAA National Tournament on the line.

The Trojans and Eagles will match up for their second series of the this season, with the Trojans winning both games during the regular season. The two teams played a doubleheader in Elgin back on April 20th, with TIU taking the first game 2-0, and the second contest of the afternoon 14-10.

With a pair of wins in the Regional Tournament the Trojans will earn a berth into the NCCAA World Series that will take place In Botetourt, Virginia on May 16th-18th. The World Series is made up of 8 teams, represented by the 6 regions and two at large bids. The Trojans will be looking to make their first appearance at the NCCAA World Series since 2007.
