TRINITY INTERNATIONAL TROJANS (7-3, 2-2 CCAC) at CARDINAL STRITCH (4-5-1, 2-3 CCAC)
Saturday, October 10 | 10:00 a.m.
Bavarian Soccer Complex | Glendale, Wisc.

This Week
 • The second half of the regular season is underway, as Trinity International looks to keep the first-half momentum rolling as they host the Judson Eagles in a mid-week CCAC matchup. On Saturday, TIU will head north to take on the Cardinal Stritch Wolves for an early 10:00 a.m. kickoff.
 • Tuesday's matchup with the Eagles will be streamed live online, at TIUTrojans.com.
 • The Trojan offense has enjoyed it's highest-scoring run in recent memory this season; Trinity leads the CCAC and ranks 22nd nationally in the NAIA with an average of 3.2 goals per match.
 • Defensively, the team has allowed the second-fewest number of goals on average, with just five scores given up in six matches. Nationally, the team ranks 23rd in shutouts, earning the clean sheet in 40% of their matches. The Trojans' 1.10 goals-against average ranks 2nd in the CCAC.
 • If the Trojans score against Judson on Tuesday, Trinity will match the entire offensive output from the 2014 season with seven matches still on the slate. Through the first ten matches of the year, 12 different players have already found the back of the net, led by junior Zach Reget, who has six goals on the year.
 • With their next win, the Trojans will have recorded the most victories in a single season since 2008, when TIU went 8-12-2, reaching the NCCAA National Tournament.

Last Time Out
 • With just a few seconds remaining on the clock, the Trojans suffered a late goal scored by the host Purdue-Calumet Peregrines, giving the Trojans just their third loss of the season, 2-1 in double-overtime last Wednesday.
• TIU struck first, when Zach Reget gave his team the lead in the 5th minute. Trinity held on to that one goal lead througout the rest of the first half despite the Peregrines outshooting TIU 7-4. PUC again took more chances after the break, finally breaking through in the 81st minute.
 • With less than 30 seconds until both teams would earn a draw, PUC's Cristian Garcia took a cross from the left side and fired for the game-winner.
 • After a shaky start that saw two goal from the visitors in the first 16 minutes, the Trinity International Trojans made it a memorable Homecoming weekend, earning a 6-2 win over the St. Francis Saints on Saturday afternoon.
 • The Trojans trailed after about 90 seconds, when the Saints struck for an early 1-0 lead. Once Joseph Sanborn tied the match in the 15th minute, St. Francis struck again within a minute to move back in front, 2-1. From that point on, however, it was all TIU as five unanswered goals secured the team's seventh win this season, and second in league play.

Last Time vs. Judson & Cardinal Stritch
 • Zach Reget scored his team-leading seventh goal of the season to force extra time, but the Trojans squad ultimately suffered a 2-1 loss to open CCAC play at Judson on Sept. 24, 2014.
 • Against Cardinal Stritch on Oct. 18, 2014. the Trojans had their opportunities, taking 12 shots with eight on goal, but TIU suffered their fourth shutout of the season, falling on the road to Cardinal Stritch, 2-0. Senior goalkeeper Sean Avila made ten saves in the match, setting a new season high.

Series History
 • Judson has claimed the last five matches over the Trojans, and hold a 9-0-1 mark in the series dating back to 2007. The Trojans earned a 1-1 draw in Elgin back in 2010.
• The Trojans are on a four-game slide head-to-head against Cardinal Stritch, and have not scored a goal against the Wolves in four straight matches. The last TIU win in the series came on Oct. 23, 2010, in a 5-1 decision at Schartner Field.

League Leaders
 • Freshman keeper Jared Yonke is the CCAC leader both shutouts (4), and shutouts per match (0.44). Nationally, Yonke is 44th in the NAIA in goals-against average, at 1.08.
 • Brett Robinson has dealt out five assists on the season, good for 39th in the NAIA, and second in the CCAC.
• Zach Reget is among the CCAC's top five in nearly every category; the junior is the CCAC leader in shots per game (4.33), and assists (6). Reget also ranks 4th in points per game (2.00), and 5th in both total goals and goals per game (6; 0.67 per match).
• Nationally, Reget is 22nd in assists per game (0.67) and shots per game (4.33), and 24th in total assists (6)
• In his first season at Trinity, Zack Cemail is tied for 9th in the CCAC with five goals scored, and is tied for 10th with 2.8 shots taken per match.

Scouting the Opponent
Judson

 • The Eagues come to Deerfield on a four-match slide, having dropped home matches to Robert Morris and St. Xavier last week. Judson will go for its second road win of the year at Schartner Field on Tuesday.
 • JU ranks 11th in the CCAC with 1.40 goals per match, while the defense is averaging 2.5 goals allowed each contest, for a 2.42 goals-against average that ranks 11th in the league.
 • Walter Lopez leads the conference with 40 total shots taken this season, and is second in the CCAC with 4.0 shots per match. His five goals place him in a tie for 9th among league leaders.
 • Goalkeeper Jared Schieler leads the CCAC, and ranks 14th nationally in the NAIA, with 60 total saves made.

Cardinal Stritch
 • The Wolves are coming off a pair of 3-1 losses at Olivet Nazarene and at home to Robert Morris last week. Entering play this week Cardinal Stritch sits just a half-game behind the Trojans in the CCAC standings.
• Stritch is averaging 1.6 goals per match so far this year, the 9th-best average in the CCAC. Defensively, the team holds a 1.54 gaols-against average, also good for 9th in the league.
• Peter Bannister leads the team with six goals in 2015, and was named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 29. Bannister currently sits 4th on the CCAC goals table, with seven tallies on the season.

Looking Ahead
 • Trinity will continue CCAC play with a mid-week visit to Roosevelt on Wednesday, October 14. The Trojans then return to Schartner Field on Saturday, October 17 to take on the St. Ambrose Bees.
