TRINITY INTERNATIONAL TROJANS (2-1) at LAKELAND (Wisc.) MUSKIES (1-2)
Wednesday, September 9 | 4:30 p.m.
LC Soccer Field | Plymouth, Wisc. This Week  Â
 • Trinity International has a lighter load this week after playing three matches over the span of six days to start the season. The Trojans hit the road on Wednesday, September 9, to take on the Lakeland (Wisc.) Muskies in the second of a two-match road swing.
 • Wednesday's trip is a rematch from last year's home match with the Muskies. TIU earned a 2-1 win over Lakeland back on Sept. 5, 2014.
 • A win over Lakeland would give the Trojans their first three-match win streak since the 2012 season, when Trinity earned wins over Missouri Baptist, Northland International (Wisc.) and Clarke (Iowa) to start the year with a 3-1 mark.
 • Through the first three matches of the season, seven players have already found the back of the net, and are in a tie for the team lead with one goal apiece.
Last Time Out  Â
 • After dropping the season-opener, the Trojans picked up two wins last week, one in dominant fashion and another in overtime. TIU tallied six goals in a shutout victory over Concordia (Mich.), then used a goal from Noah Smith in the 97th minute to take a road win at Concordia (Wisc.) on Monday.
• The Trojans scored three goals in a span of five minutes in the first half against Concordia (Mich.), then scored three more after the halftime break to put away the Cardinals.
• Three players recorded their first career goal in the win, as freshmen Zack Cemail, Jordan Dejno, and Tyler Cake all found the back of the net for the first time. Smith's game-winning goal against Concordia (Wisc.) was also a career first
Last Time vs. Lakeland  Â
 • Trinity surrendered the first goal of the match early in the second half, but with two scores of their own, earned the comeback win, 2-1 over Lakeland on Sept. 5, 2014.
 • Senior Steven Hoeflich, who had one career goal entering the match, scored both goals midway through the second half to put his team in front for good.
 • Wednesday marks the first meeting between the Trojans and Muskies to take place in Plymouth; TIU holds a 1-0 lead in the all-time series after last season's win.
Impact Newcomers  Â
 • Six first-year players for TIU have made a big difference in the early part of the season, including four true freshmen.
 • Freshmen Jordan Dejno and Tyler Cake have each scored a goal for the Trojans in the win over Concordia (Mich.), and are tied for the team lead. Sophomore transfer Zack Cemail also scored in that match, just his second in a TIU uniform.
 • Redshirt freshman Jared Yonke has started in goal for both of Trinity's wins this year, and currently holds a 0.48 goals-against average with one shutout on the year.Â
• Aric Whipple and Krystian Streit have also made a difference in the Trojan attack, each recording assists against the Cardinals on Saturday.
League Leaders  Â
 • Sophomore Zack Cemail is currently the team leader in shots, ranking 9th in the CCAC with 10. Cemail also sits 6th in the conference with an average of 3.33 shots per game, and his game-winning goal against Concordia (Mich.) places him in a tie for second in the league.
 • Jared Yonke ranks 2nd in the CCAC in five different categories: goals-against average (0.48), save percentage (.929), saves per game (6.50), shutouts (1), and shutouts per game (0.50). The freshman also ranks 7th in total saves, with 13 on the year.Â
• Nationally, Yonke cracks the top 25 in the NAIA, ranking 22nd in goals-against average, and 25th in saves per game.
