WEST ALLIS, Wisc. - The Trinity International Men's and Women's Cross Country team made their third appearance of the season on Saturday, competing in the Warrior Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran University. The Men's team had four runners compete, while the Women's team had three.

Freshman Chase Manke led the way for TIU in the 8K race, finished 66th with a career best time of 30:12.76. Not far behind Manke was fellow Freshman Justin Chu who placed 67th with a time of 30:14.56.

On the Women's side, Freshman Shayla Sotelo finished with the top time of the day for the Lady Trojans in the 6K, registering a time of 27:58.52. Sotelo's time on Saturday was her season best, surpassing her time in the Forester Invitational by over a minute.

The TIU Cross Country team will be back in action on October 21st when they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
