Box Score BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - It was another tight match for the TIU Men's Soccer team, but the Trojans were unable to find the back of the net as TIU fell 1-0 to the Roosevelt Lakers on Tuesday evening.

Neither side could find their groove offensively in the opening half, though the Lakers held a 10-4 shot advantage. The Trojans best opportunity of the day came off of the head of Tayler Strand who saw his attempt saved off of the goal line. 

The scoreless tie was broken in the 65th minute after Jose Garcia connected directly off of a free kick from 20 yards out. 

The Trojans were unable to muster any offense in the remaining 25 minutes, and only had three total shots in the half.

Sophomore GK Eddie Windsor had another strong performance, making seven saves in the defeat.

The Trojans return home this weekend when they face off against the St. Francis Saints at 1 pm.
