Men's Soccer suffers loss to Judson

Box Score ELGIN, Ill. - The Trinity International (2-7, 0-2 CCAC) Men's Soccer team dropped another close match, falling to CCAC rival Judson University (8-2, 1-1 CCAC) 2-0 Saturday afternoon.

The first half saw the Trojans dominating the scoring opportunities and chances, but the Eagles defense was up to the task as the Trojans were unable to grab the lead.

Judson found the back of the net against the run of play in the 32nd minute after a cross to the back post found the head of Matt Jernee who converted to give the Eagles the lead.

After 45 minutes of play the Eagles held a 1-0 lead, but Judson would add another goal just four minutes into the half to take a 2-0 lead.

The Trojans were unable to muster any offense late in the game, dropping their second CCAC match in the last four days.

The TIU Men's Soccer team will look for their first conference win of the year when they travel to South Bend Indiana on Wednesday when they face Holy Cross.
