#22 Trojans face The Master's in NAIA Opening Round

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After waiting nearly a full week from punching their ticket to the 2014 NAIA Women's Soccer Championship, the 22nd-ranked Trinity International Trojans learned Monday that they would face off against The Master's (Calif.) in their Opening Round Matchup.

2014 NAIA Women's Soccer Championship Bracket

The Trojans will open their tournament run in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Saturday, November 22nd, against a Mustangs squad that posted a 12-5-1 record and currently rank No. 16 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll. The Master's finished third in the Golden State Athletic Conference, and were upset in the first round of the GSAC Tournament, but earned the fourth of seven at-large bids to the NAIA Tournament, where they earned the 12-seed.

Trinity International will make it's second consecutive trip to the NAIA Tournament this weekend, and it's fifth in the history of the program. The Trojans will look for their first NAIA Tournament victory in program history, as TIU currently holds an 0-5 mark in the national championship tournament.

Saturday's game time will be announced later this week.
