Women's soccer named NCCAA Scholar Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Earlier this week the TIU women's soccer team was honored by the National Christian College Athletic Association for their success in the classroom throughout their 2022 season as they were named one of the NCCAA's Scholar Teams. 

To be eligible for this award, teams must meet a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team. 

The Trojans are one of 53 teams, coming from 28 different institutions. Trinity is one of just eight women's soccer teams.

TIU women's soccer averaged a 3.46 for the 2022 fall semester.
