Trojans voted as recipient of Karl Boeck Champions of Character Award

CHICAGO, Ill. --- The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference's (CCAC) announced their slate of postseason awards on Monday, following the conclusion of the conference tournament last weekend. Despite a difficult and challenging season, the Trojans were chosen as recipients of the Karl Boeck CCAC Champions of Character Award.

The recognition is voted on by the league's coaches and is given to a team in the CCAC that best represents the ideals of exemplary sportsmanship on the field of play. Trinity wins the award for the third consecutive year and it's the fourth time in the last eight seasons the Trojans have been selected as recipient.

TIU wrapped up their season in late October with a record of 5-11-2 overall and 4-8-1 in conference.
