Box Score BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - In a dynamic offensive performance the TIU Women's Soccer team scored six goals in route to their fourth consecutive win, defeating the Roosevelt Lakers 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior Jillian Kolster put forth another strong performance on Wednesday, registering a hat trick, and bringing her season goal toal to 14. Senior Kylie Bowman added two goals of her own, while Makena Walker scored her first goal of the season, to round out the Trojan offense.

Walker got the Trojans on the board early after putting away the opening goal in the 2nd minute of the game. The Lakers responded quickly, as Cynthia Gutierrez tapped home the equalizer in the 10th minute.

From that moment on it was all TIU, as the Trojans found the back of the net three more times in the first half, putting the game well out of reach. Kolster and Bowman both scored in the second half, making it 6-1 in favor of the visiting squad.

The TIU Women's Soccer team will look to make it five conference wins in a row on Saturday when they take on the St. Francis Saints at 4 pm on Schartner Field.
